BusinessAttelkom's banner department becomes Jarnama, opens network to other websites
The department that has sold banners on Attelkom's portal since 1998 will now place ads on IradOne Online and any site that joins its network.
TALAS — Attelkom's advertising department, which has sold banner space on the company's portal and its subscribers' member pages since 1998, has been renamed Attelkom Jarnama and will place advertisements on other Iradi websites, the company said yesterday. Advertisers buy space through a single office in Talas and pay by the thousand views, in som.
The first outside site in the network is IradOne Online. Other publishers can join by placing a short code on their pages; Attelkom will keep 40 percent of the revenue.
Small businesses in Talas welcomed the plan but complained that the minimum order, 15,000 som a month, was beyond most of them. Attelkom said a cheaper package for local shops would follow "in the second half of the year".
